Paper abstract

Katastrofy budowlane spowodowane działaniem sił natury stanowią ponad 60% wszy-stkich katastrof budowlanych, które zaistniały w Polsce w ostatnich pięciu latach. W pracy podjęto próbę analizy przyczyn powstawania katastrof budowlanych na podstawie własnych rejestrów oraz porównania ich z prognozami meteorologów i badaniami prowadzonymi przez inne instytucje.

Construction collapses caused by natural forces make up over 60% of all the construction collapses which took place in Poland in the last five years. This paper attempts to analyse the causes of construction collapses using the records of the General Office of Building Control and comparing them with meteorological forecasts and research conducted by other institutions.
