Poszukiwanie przez projektantów nietypowych sposobów zmniejszania zużycia stali w konstrukcjach hal stalowych prowadzi dość często do zmniejszenia bezpieczeństwa i do stanów awaryjnych. Niestarannie wykonany montaż dodatkowo zwiększa zagrożenia awaryjne. W referacie przedstawiono przykład błędnej zmiany projektu podczas rozbudowy części hali, mające na celu oszczędności materiałowe względem poprawnego projektu hali istniejącej, a także wpływ błędów podczas montażu na zagrożenie awaryjne hali.

Searching by designers unusual ways of reducing the material consumptions in the steel buildings often leads to the decrease of safety and the state of emergency. Crudely executed assembly also increases the risk of failure. The paper presents an example of incorrect changes to the design during the expansion of the hall, with a view to materials savings, in the contrary to the proper design of existing building, and the effect of errors committed during the assembly hall on the risk of an emergency.
