Streszczenie referatu

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję i możliwości samonaprawy materiałów budowlanych. Omówiono dotychczas proponowane rozwiązania w tym zakresie, w tym „samozaleczanie” rys w betonie, wprowadzanie do mieszanki betonowej środka naprawczego w mikrokapsułkach lub włóknach oraz wykorzystanie biomateriałów. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono możliwości nadawania materiałom cechy samonaprawialności przez stosowanie modyfikacji żywicą epoksydową bez utwardzacza. Przedstawiono wyniki wstępnych badań laboratoryjnych, potwierdzających taką możliwość. Koncepcja ta jest wciąż na etapie wstępnych badań; do rozwiązania pozostaje szereg problemów technologicznych i materiałowych.

The idea and possibilities of self-repairing of the building materials have been presented in the paper. The hitherto proposed solutions in that area have been described, including “self-healing” of the cracks in the concrete, application of the repair means in the micro-capsules or fibres to the concrete mix and using of the biomaterials. The particular attention has been paid to the possibility of achieving the self-repairing by modification of the concrete with the epoxy resin without hardener. The results of the introductory lab tests have been presented, which confirm the discussed possibility. The concept is still in the stage of the introductory investigations; several technological and material problems should be resolved.
